Thank you so much for shopping with The Vintage Hen & Chick! 🐔 Here's everything you need to know about shipping, returns, and refunds.


SHIPPING

I carry two types of products and they ship differently, so here's a breakdown of what to expect!

Paint, Stamps, Transfers, DIY Supplies & Vintage Finds
These items ship directly from me via USPS, UPS, or FedEx in 3–5 business days. Believe me, it's worth the wait!

  • $12 flat rate shipping to the 48 contiguous states
  • $15 flat rate shipping to Hawaii and Alaska

Allow extra time during sales and new releases — those get busy around here! 😊

🌡️ Cold Weather Notice: If you're ordering Dixie Belle paint during the cold weather months, I go to great lengths to prevent freezing during shipping. If you live in a cold climate, please track your package and bring it inside promptly. I'm not able to replace paint or liquid items that have frozen.

⚠️ Incorrect Address: Please double-check your shipping address before placing your order! If your package is returned to sender due to an incorrect address, shipping costs will not be refunded.

Apparel & POD Items
Every apparel item is printed just for you by my production partner after your order is placed! Please allow 2–5 business days for production, plus shipping time. Once your order ships you'll receive tracking information at the email used at checkout.

Digital Downloads
Digital items are delivered instantly via email after purchase. Don't see it? Check your spam folder first! 📧

Lost or Delayed Packages
Once a package has been handed off to the carrier, delivery is outside of my direct control. If your package appears lost or delayed, please contact the carrier directly using your tracking number. You're also welcome to reach out to me at shelleywipper@gmail.com and I'll do my best to help!


RETURNS

Paint, Stamps, Transfers, DIY Supplies & Vintage Finds
All sales are final. I do not accept returns or exchanges. Please review all photos and product details carefully before purchasing — I want you to love what you ordered! 💛

Apparel & POD Items
Because every apparel item is made to order just for you, I'm unable to accept returns or exchanges for reasons such as ordering the wrong size, changing your mind, or selecting the wrong color. Please review the size chart carefully before ordering!


DAMAGES

If your order arrives damaged please email me at shelleywipper@gmail.com within 48 hours of receiving your shipment and include:

  • Your order number
  • A clear photo of the issue
  • A brief description of the problem

For physical goods damaged by the carrier:

  • Leave all items as-is in the original box
  • Take up to 7 photos: 3 of the outside of the box, 1 of the inside with product still inside, 2 of the damaged items, and 1 of the shipping label
  • The carrier may need to pick up the box for inspection

For damaged apparel or POD items:
Simply email me a photo within 48 hours and I'll get a replacement sent out to you right away!

If an item is sent back for any reason, you are responsible for the return shipping cost.


CANCELLATIONS

Apparel and POD orders may only be canceled within 2 hours of purchase as production can begin quickly. Please email me at shelleywipper@gmail.com right away — I cannot guarantee cancellations once an order has been submitted for production.
